About the Founder
Ethan James, Chairman and Executive Director of Global Education Mission, Inc. (GEM), is an alumnus of New Jersey Institute of Technology (NJIT) - Class of 1996. He received his Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering, and is currently pursuing his Master of Business Administration degree at American Inter-Continental University. Since the completion of his undergraduate degree, Ethan has worked primarily in finance and business strategy. By the time he incorporated GEM in February of 2002, Ethan was working as Senior Director of Strategy and Planning at Time Warner's Court TV in Manhattan, NY. His convictions and belief in the purpose and mission of GEM led Ethan to resign his post at Court TV in May of 2002 to pursue GEM's development full time. Ethan chose to launch GEM's activities in the island of Antigua, W.I., where he was born. It's off to an excellent start. The company expects to establish presence in the entire Caribbean region by 2007.
